If you draw some ideas - have fun. But go ahead and take a stab at it and have fun. Avoid big expensive software like Auto-Cad and SoftPlan and Chief Architect several that are widely used in the architecture and remodeling community. Some features take longer to learn, but the basics of laying out rooms and playing around are simple.
